Read MoreWe discuss calisthenics, weightlifting and mobility and I really enjoyed the depth I could discuss calisthenics with Jakub; in part due to his similar height/weight to me and in part due to his keen interest in the research behind these training modalities. Enjoy!
Read MoreWe’re kicking off the second wave of podcasts with Hadyn Wiseman. I’ve known of Hadyn since the late 2000’s and known him personally since 2016 when I was living in the UK.
Hadyn is extremely powerful, athletic and has a mindset that gives him almost unlimited potential. Since following his training, I’ve seen him execute insane tricking combo’s, squatted 250kg/551lbs, had an MMA fight and ALMOST land a standing double backflip!
We talked about a lot but my two favourite topics from this one was the knee sleeve story and our discussion (as two 30 year olds) on our athletic prime/decline. Enjoy!
Philip (@the_mindful_mover) has a wealth of knowledge in the bodyweight, weightlifting and mobility scene as well as being a lifelong (almost!) practitioner of martial arts. Philip runs an online coaching business with his wife Martina.
Read MoreTraining update now that I’m back at it again, eyeing up potential BJJ comps, low impact leg training with massive results (what is it?), all that I learned from my latest running workshop + what to be wary of from your favourite fitness influencers.
Read MoreThe results are in from my MAX OUT session for Bench Press! How did I do? + Worst part about cycling long distance. Also some discussion on Nile Wilson’s most recent injury and how we can all learn from it… AND I answer all your #TysonVersation questions.
I’ve finished my Smolov Jnr cycle with Bench Press so what’s next? You’ll be surprised what I learnt at a S&C running workshop (it’s not what you’d think)… Also, why I don’t recommend split training + taking a look at an IG page that is ruffling some feathers claiming you can make MORE gains with LESS effort.
